What your child will enjoy

Our team of skilled actors, musicians and dancers will work their magic to ensure your child enjoys every moment.

They'll be with them every step of the way to inspire and encourage them to project their voices, learn energetic dance routines, sing catchy songs, and develop the 4 Cs: Confidence, Concentration, Communication, Coordination.

At the end of the course, the children will put on an enchanting performance to delight family and friends complete with colourful costumes and original songs. They'll also get a personalised certificate to celebrate everything they've achieved.

Course structure

Over 3-5 days, activities are broadly divided into three parts, each focusing on a different performing arts discipline.

Drama & acting

This includes a series of drama-based games and exercises to boost confidence, such as focus work, character communication and vocal projection.

The Producer will also provide detailed performance notes on areas like character development, physicality and accents. This session will really help improve children's attention at school by developing their concentration, imagination and speaking skills in a fun and imaginative way.

Movement & dance

This begins with energetic and fun group exercises designed to inspire the imagination, develop coordination and reduce the chance of injury.

The choreographer will then focus on technical work on physical skills and provide detailed stylistic notes.

All activities in this section help children develop good coordination, balance and core stability as they grow, leading to greater self-assurance, improved posture and confidence in physical activities.

Speech & singing

This part of the course aims to increase the flexibility of the vocal cords, develop basic musical reading and improve articulation and projection while maintaining good technique.

Small groups ensure that most children have the opportunity for solo or featured roles if they wish. Fun, engaging topics and a humorous approach make this section ideal for boosting children's confidence, concentration and communication skills, all while giving shy children a chance to shine.

What parents say

The three day Narnia experience was excellent. Our children (ages 7 and 4) were keen to start every day and are still singing the songs. The emphasis on enjoying the whole experience rather than obsessing over a slick final production is the right one.

Christopher Wallace

Absolutely wonderful! My children LOVE coming to Perform... They are so fired up each day and sing the songs and rehearse until bedtime. Poppy even fell asleep holding her script! By far the best company we have found for holiday drama courses.

Naomi Billington

Thank you so much for all your hard work this week, our son had an absolute whale of a time and was desperate to get there each day! It's been so nice to see him buzzing with excitement! Thank you for creating a warm and supportive environment for him to flourish and break down barriers.

Lauren Godfrey

Kate had a wonderful week working on Peter Pan with Aled and the team. She is only 4 and a half and although she's been doing Perform weekly classes for two terms, this is the first time she has ever done a week long course like this. She enjoyed herself from the first day...

Helen Mortimer

My four year old was telling me at bedtime the night before the show that she wanted to go to Never Land and live with Peter Pan! My two girls have been talking every day about the course and singing all the songs. It was great to go to work knowing that my children would be having a fun and safe day.

Paula De Pando

Thank you so much, it was absolutely fabulous. Frankie just thrived from the whole experience.
